what is dollar a month club?

We are looking for small donations – as little as a $1 a month – from individuals and businesses to help us on our next tour, which will begin mid-2022. For Round 2, we will be going even bigger and harder – with more shelters/rescues visited, more funds raised, and more overlooked animals saved. And of course, more fun for the shelter animals and the rescues who love them.

All of the money raised through the $1 a month program will go directly to the shelter animals for things like treats, dog and cat beds, enrichment toys, and other supplies we can use not only to provide these animals with some added comforts, but also to help us raise more money for the shelters.

Jordan’s Way is an organization founded in 2019 by Kris Rotonda in honor of his best friend, Jordan, a German Shepherd-mix who spent her first 3.5 years being passed over in an animal shelter. Kris and Jordan shared 11 wonderful years together, and after Jordan’s passing, Kris made it his life’s mission to help overlooked rescue animals find their forever families faster.

Today, Jordan’s Way helps animal shelters and rescues across the country raise much-needed funds and get their harder-to-adopt animals noticed. In January of 2021, Kris launched a 50-state tour, hosting 4-hour Facebook live telethon-style fundraisers for animal shelters and rescues across the U.S. In our first year, Jordan’s Way has helped over 300 animal rescues in 43 states raise almost $3 million in funding.

That money has been used to help save animal lives, whether by funding a needed medical procedure, helping build or expand a shelter so they can take in more rescues from death row, or helping transport more dogs and cats from high-kill shelters to loving foster homes.

Just as importantly, we’ve also raised awareness. Multiple difficult-to-place dogs, and cats that had been in the shelters for far too long were adopted soon after our fundraiser because they finally received the attention they needed. and they quickly found a loving home. That’s our ultimate goal. to the the unnoticed noticed. And with you support, we can do just that.
