Last night, Kris and Mary Lynn from Jordan’s Way were at Holt County Animal Shelter in O’Neill, Nebraska. The staff and community were so ready to raise some crucial funding for this amazing shelter. Mr. Mcintosh, an ambassador from the O’Neill Chamber of Commerce and owner of Mcintosh Jewelry donated a generous $500. He is pictured below with his lovely wife.
Little Tots Daycare made a significant donation so make sure to go to www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063521772816 and like their page. Next, an anonymous donation of $1000 came in, helping the fundraiser total continue to climb.
It’s always heartwarming to see community participation at these fundraisers. The local mayor even came out to support The Holt County Animal Shelter.
Ice bucket challenges are chilly to watch. Diana, shelter manager and Chris both took ice buckets over the head to rally donations.
Kylo is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix and one of the shelter’s longest residents. He has been in their care for 3 1/2 years! He was a sweetheart for puppy love, enjoying a puppachino from his friend’s face. Kylo is looking for his forever home so go to

The heart and soul behind these fundraisers will always be the shelter animals. The dogs were treated to burger mania where every dog got a burger to celebrate a successful fundraiser!

Next up was Adopt-A-Dog Animal Rescue Inc. in Chappell, Nebraska. Jordan’s Way is closing in on the halfway point through this action packed tour, so Kris and Mary Lynn started to feel a little silly on their way over to Adopt-A-Dog Rescue.

Creek Valley 5th and 6th graders were a huge part of today’s fundraiser. They participated in the pie face challenge, egg roulette, and even did push ups to help bring in the donations!
Ms. Riley took a slime bucket over the head as well. It was very cool to see the local elementary kids and teachers participating in such a wonderful event! Huge thank you to Creek Valley Elementary!
To keep up the fundraiser’s momentum, Kris spent a little camera time with Super, a 1-2 year old Border Collie Mix. Super is a sweet young pup ready to learn some new tricks.
